Suicide Bereavement Support (SBS) is a registered charity that has always depended on the generosity of people like you to help us do our work, helping the individuals, families and communities throughout Cumbria to grieve and find a way forward after a suicide.

Our volunteers will continue to do this in the coming months but, as we are planning to close the charity at the end of June 2024, we realise that you may wish to donate elsewhere or raise funds for other charities working in this area. We completely understand but you can also be assured that, should we have remaining funds after closure, the Trustees will ensure that these continue to support those who are bereaved by suicide in Cumbria and surrounding areas. Thank you to everyone who has participated in all kinds of events to raise money for SBS and to raise awareness of the challenges of bereavement by suicide. While we are planning to close at the end of June 2024, your generosity and support has been very much valued and appreciated.
